Booker Academy Sec

The Academy is wholly owned by Mumias Sugar Company Limited under the Elimu trust and is registered as a private school. It operates under the 8-4-4 curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education. The Academy is a welfare facility for employees and is part of MSC's CSR programs towards all Kenyans.
The board of trustees is the governing body of the school. They form the policy making body of the Academy. The Principal is the Secretary to the B.O.T and reports to the trustee board. The school also has a Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in which the parents' and teachers are represented.
