Strathmore School - Secondary is in Nairobi County (Dagoretti North Constituency).

Strathmore School - Secondary is a boys day secondary school.

Strathmore started in March 1961 as a sixth-form college, then called Strathmore College of Arts and Sciences, with 57 Form Five students drawn from all races. They sat the Higher School Certificate examination in November 1962. Accountancy classes followed in 1966.

The first Form One students joined in January 1977, and between 1977 and 1980 the secondary school grew to four forms. A primary section opened in 1987. In 1993 the accountancy school moved from Lavington to Madaraka, and the Lavington campus was renamed Strathmore School.

Today it is a private boys’ day school in Lavington, Nairobi. Its spiritual guidance is entrusted to Opus Dei, a prelature of the Catholic Church. Its motto, “Ut omnes unum sint”, is Latin for “That all may be one”.
